Do you have American Bulldog pups?
My husband and I fell in love with the American Bulldog. I have researched this dog relentlessly. The dog is beautiful and the best part I understand they do well with children. The down side is that they are very expensive and hard to find in the Philadelphia area. Is there any chance that someone has a pup up for adoption? Thank you all for your support. We will definetely look into adoption because I believe that every animal deserves a fair chance and I KNOW we will provide a good loving home for him/her. I wasn't aware of petfinders as you all are. Will look into that.

- Hey there, Good for you for looking into adopting instead of a breeder! Have you tried looking at Petfinder yet? You can usually find the breed you're interested in there, and if they're a little out of the way, most rescues can use their contacts to figure out a way to get the dog to you if necessary. I've tossed a few more links to some national American Bulldog rescues towards the bottom. Hope you find the dog of your dreams!
- try www.petfinder.com or your local shelter, maybe you can call shelters within driving distance and see if they have one, maybe call ones in the states next to you to see if they will "ship" the dog to you :) good luck!
- I had a litter in Feb. They are truly the Greatest breed I have ever owned!!! The price of American Bulldogs are pretty steep! There are rescue shelters that are overwhelmed with the breed because people don't research and think before they leap.......... Search American Bulldog Rescues
- I have several pups from a litter born on January 17. They are not technically for "adoption", however, they are well below the national average price for Am. Bulldogs. There is no advertising on this site, so if you would like to email me(address on profile) , I can give you more information including pics.
- Like everyone said try petfinder, there seem to be a lot of pups and dogs with rescue groups in Maryland, especially the counties surrounding Baltimore. That is not too far from Philly, some places are actually within an hour to an hour and a half. You can access this rescue called the Bulldog Rescue Farm on Petfinder that is located in Jarrettsville MD, they have some great looking dogs.
