Japanese Chin/Boston Terrier or Jap Chin/French Bulldog mix pics?
Hey! My mother is planning on breeding Japanese Chins/Boston Terriers and Japanese Chins/French Bulldogs. We both like dogs and this is going to be fun, however, I do not really know what the mixes look like and I have tried to find pics online, but I've only been able to find 2 pics of the Jap. chin/boston terrier mix, and would love more, as well as pics of the chin/french bulldog mix. Does anyone have any, or any urls I can look at to see pics? :) Thanks! **READ.** This is NOT backyard breeding, NOR is this for the purpose of money. "Pure breeds" came from perfecting "mutts". People breed two breeds in order to create the perfect pet, an example being a man who finally managed to create the perfect "mutt" who was able to detect a microscopic amount of explosives, which could kill numerous people if ignited. We have researched and found three small breeds which have very similar, yet important traits for families and doing this will create a new breed within the non-sporting category, which in the future may be a preferred breed among many families. We have talked to many successful and well-known breeders, and their purpose of breeding is the same as ours. We are NOT backyard breeders; we take VERY good care of our dogs. Please stop the criticism and do your own research. I only kindly asked for pictures. Thank you. Okay, please let me explain something. I didn't mean "fun" as in a laughing matter. I meant it as EXCITING, since I love dogs, and it will be a learning experience. Btw, we are NOT going to breed the two dogs together. So please stop all your criticizing now. It was just an idea, not a definite plan. I was just ASKING for pictures, because I was wondering what they would look like. Me and my mother are not sick people. We did not come up with the idea for entertainment. You, who would actually THOUGHT that we thought of the idea for entertainment, are sick people.

- Why are you breeding mixes? Welcome to the world of backyard breeding...
- Unfortunately, since you are not breeding two purebred dogs of the same breed...you have NO idea what you will get. When you breed mutts they do not 'breed true' meaning one may look like a chin, the other pup a frenchi, and then the rest like chihuahuas. You just don't know. Please do not raise more mutts. There are plenty of accidentally-bred throw away dogs in the pounds as it is.
- oh come on this is getting absolutely ridiculous.. When you breed a dog you do so to produce something better.. NEVER EVER EVER breeding mutts, will you produce something better.. There is nothing to better or improve on, because there is no such thing as a MUTT STANDARD.. Why are you trying to make legitimate breeders look bad.. Producing these crap litters, and then people wander around bad mouthing breeders and lumping them all together.. You aren't a breeder, you are a little kid playing a game.. You cannot play games with the lives of your own dogs, or the life of the little ugly puppies you are trying to produce.. When you come here asking about breeding, you should be asking about health problems within all that big muck .. rather than asking how cute the ugly things will be and if there are any mutt pictures available to view.. Do it right or don't do it at all..
- Well as a professional backyard breeder you should know what they look like, oh wait. I forgot. When you mix breeds you never know what they look like. And chin/bostons, chin/frenchies. Why would you even bother? Goo, I dobut if even one will be lucky enough to find a home gross. GRRREAT to see another person with no morals who only cares about the money.
- No I have some pictures of dead small dogs trying to give birth to bulldog cross puppies though there really cute. If you love dogs please dont do this. Breed Japanese Chins or Boston Bull Terriers but dont cross them. Bulldogs are Bracyacephalic meaning there faces are deformed, and there muzzled are drastically reduced, also there chests are huge, causing a vast majority of this breed to have to give birth by C-section. Japanese Chins are on the border of Bracyacehalic themselves. Its just not a good practice. Be a responsible GOOD breeder, breed purebred dogs or dont breed at all I beg you. Natalie H You say READ WITHOUT CRITISM and then you go on critisizing everyone here that is trying to stop backyard breeding and designer dog issues. As a breeder yourself you should know that mixed breed purposely bred has no place in the purebred dog world. I would have said GO FOR IT SWEETY if we didnt have millions of unwanted mix breed dogs already in this country as well as around the world. Yes National Geographic did have a special stating that all dogs evolved from the wolf and were cross bred to produce new breed. Natalie she didnt say she was producing a new breed. She said she was crossing them for fun. If she was dead serious about creating a BRAND new breed then the reponse I gave would be diffrent. Also Frenchies are WIDELY know for C-section births... Bostons are also on the list for HIGH risk births. Japanese Chins themselves are known to have birth problems as well and breeders that KNOW what they are doing will know what dogs to breed to avoid this problem. This person is not showing responsiblity in the question she asked and so this leads me to believe they are not factoring in this problem when they begin to breed. So stop being a hyporcrite with your answers. Elennessa you are on a public sight, asking a question about pictures of dogs that shouldnt happen in natural surroundings. What else would you be breeding these two dogs for if not for curiosity and money? Are you giving your dogs away? Are yoy paying people to take them? NO you are going to sell your dog and no matter what amount you charge you are selling the dog for a profit. It pure and simple. You are a backyard breeder, and that label doesnt mean your DONT care for you dogs well it means you DONT care about the pure bloodline of your dog and you are breeding for profit and curiosity seeking. If you were reputable then you would only breed Chins, you would only breed Bostons, and Frenchies... ONLY or not at all.
- Shame on you. Shame on your mother. Breeding is "fun?" Do tell. Check out some of the recent posts re: brachycephalic dogs like Chins and Bostons and Frenchies where the dam still has a puppy stuck in her. Got the money for an emergency c-section? Please do the right thing. Please do what responsible people who "like dogs" do. Don't breed unless you know what you're doing. If you don't know what you're doing, spay and neuter and simply enjoy your dogs for being dogs. Not puppy machines.
- Unfortunately you can't find pictures of these because you don't intentionally breed them, and I'm sure when they are bred they are ugly, that is if the mother doesn't die because the puppy was too big and she couldn't breathe. Breeding dogs is not "fun" it is hard work and should only be left to people who know what they are doing let alone what they are producing. If you care anything about your dogs you wouldn't put their lives at risk. be prepared to lose a mother dog or pay thousands for an emergency c-section.
- ***READ WITHOUT CRITICISM*** Excuse me, but does anybody here watch national geographic? Being a professional breeder myself, I know that 80% of all dog breeds were made by breeding two or more purebred dogs, and perfecting their traits. Chins, boston terriers, and french bulldogs all have very good, similar traits such as being loyal family dogs and extremely smart. They also do well as both apartment dwellers or home dwellers. There is no risk of developing very odd character traits, and if anything, mixing either two of the breeds could create a mix that has potential to become its own breed in time. Chins, boston terriers and french bulldogs are all SMALL breeds, and none of them would need a c-section, so please check up on your info before you come here to criticize people. French bulldogs need c-sections ONLY if they are bred with another french bulldog, or a larger size breed. Haven't you ever heard of "designer dogs"? They are our future as far as perfecting the traits of man's best friend.
- Bananas. Definately Bananas.
- Honestly, I think what your doing is gross. Yes, both breeds are fine dogs, i have a Chin myself. But you need to understand that just because they're good mannered and good looking dogs alone, does NOT mean it will be "better" by breeding them togther. Just breed one, or the other.
- Oh please sound to me like you are here only to get someone to actually say yes it's a great idea! Well it's not! Breeding is a very serious matter and should not be done just for Haha's! Good Lord the serious breeders will brand you a BYB and they have evry right too. You and your mom are looking for easy money well there isnt any. Not when you have a dam in trouble and the only recourse is a c-section at 2 grand to have it done. Shame on you and Shame on your mom for even thinging this is fun!
- There is a book entirely dedicated to breeding Boston Terriers. The book was first printed in 1910. Have a look if the online free chapter teaches you something or if you want to learn more.
