Sure the competition was worse but more wins is more wins. So is this still one of the greatest baseball/college upsets ever?

Was Pitcher, Orel Hershiser actually ever announced as "Bulldog Hershiser" over the PA? I was listening to XM's baseball station and I heard an awesome interview by Tommy Lasorda, and he mentioned that when Orel came up to the majors that he didn't like his first name and instead he would be called "Bulldog". Does anybody know if he was actually announced over the PA as Bulldog? Or is this just a funny story told by Lasorda? Do you think the Volunteers can make it into the Sec Baseball Tournament, and go far? The Volunteers are 3 games out of the final spot for the SEC tournament. Time is running out but I think the Vol's can still make it in. They've come back twice to beat top ranked Vandy last weekend. My prediction is they win the next two against UK Wildcats, sweep the UG Bulldogs, and finish with a winning SEC record. At the moment the Vol's are looking like a big under the rador team. If the win the SEC tournament who knows how far they could go.

smackdown fantasy day 6 The show starts off with the cutting edge…Edge’s guests are John Morrison and Jeff Hardy. Right after Hardy is making his way down to the ring, Vickie interrups and says that she has a huge announcement, she says that Jeff Hardy, Edge, and big show will have a 1 on 1 match tonight. Jeff Hardy will go against HHH, Edge will go against Mr. kennedy, and big show will go against the great Khali. Whoever wins their matches will go to no way out to participate in a fatal 4 way. But for John Morrison…he will have a match tonight also. He will be against Matt Hardy! …the man that loves to fight…Finlay! …the gold standard…Shelton Benjamin…and MVP in a 4 on 1 handicap match. Whoever pins Morrison will go to no way out, Morrison will get his rematch. If Morrison wins, he will be against 3 other opponents who win their matches tonight. Match1. Big show vs. the great Khali. We start off with a test of strength in the middle of the ring. Khali breaks loose and applies right hands to big show. Big show then battles back with kicks to the gut. Festus gets back in the ring at 8, and Umaga shortly after at 9 ½. Kozlov and Festus square off. Festus dominates, Kozlov gets to Umaga and tags him in. Umaga runs right into a Festus Flapjack. Festus tags Jesse in and from the top rope, Jesse jumps, and picks up the win for him and Festus as they retain the tag team titles!! Match3. Brian Kendrick vs. Evan Bourne. Very fast paced match, crowd very into this one. Bourne hit’s a clothesline, Kendrick gets up…Kendrick off the top rope, in mid air he hits knuckles to the chest. Bourne rolls out of the ring to regain stamina. Kendrick hit’s a baseball slide! They battle to the outside, Bourne goes over the barricade. Bourne is on a chair. Kendrick runs on the barricade and hit’s a leg drop onto Bourne. Kendrick doesn’t want the countout, he drags Bourne back into the ring at 9 ½. Kendrick goes for sliced bread, Bourne escapes Kendrick’s headlock in mid air, Kendrick lands on his neck, Bourne lands on the top rope, hit’s a flawless shooting star press for the win!! Match4. Edge vs. Mr. Kennedy. Edge gains control first trapping Kennedy in the corner. Kennedy slides under edge and hit’s a DDT. Kennedy goes to the top hit’s a leg drop, goes for the pin but gets a 2 count. Edge struggles to get up, hit’s a spear!!! He can’t get the pin though, edge is now in control, hit’s a bulldog, goes for the pin, 2 count, Kennedy locks in the crossface! Edge gets to the ropes. Kennedy lays off at 4 and stalks edge. Edge gets up and runs into a mic check. Hooks the leg, and the pinfall! Match5. Jeff Hardy vs. HHH. Jeff is accompanied by Morrison, Morrison runs over to HHH’s corner and pulls his foot onto the apron causing HHH to knock his head on the apron, this match is underway, Morrison pushes HHH in the ring, Jeff goes to work. Jeff puts HHH on the top rope in the corner, dropkicks the referee! Then dropkicks HHH causing him to land on his already injured badly, neck. Morrison runs to get his title belt and gives it to Jeff to hit HHH with several times on his head. Jeff and Morrison double team HHH. He throws chairs in the ring. Morrison uses them as advantage. Jeff keeps working those two over while Morrison escapes the cage from the door, suddenly, we see a furious big show closing the door hard on Morrison, big show climbs into the ring! He takes care of Jeff, throws him out, big show, from the top, gets thrown out by Morrison! John goes to pin Matt but he kicks out! Finlay is now up, he hit’s a celtic cross on Morrison. Hardy with the twist of fate on Finlay, Hardy is down also, Hardy is up first, he goes to escape the cage from the top, Morrison calls for the door, this is gonna be a controversial finish, Matt jumps off the steel cage, but gets caught by his brother! Jeff keeps Matt’s feet off the ground while we see big show again closing the door on Morrison! Big show takes out Jeff causing Matt to fall out of his arms onto the ground! Matt Hardy is going to no way out! The WWE championship match for no way out is…John Morrison, defending his title against Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Big show, and Jeff Hardy in a 5 man elimination match!

What will the mix of breeds be like? I just got an American Bulldog Rottweiler mix puppy (apparently this is called a "Bullweiler"...) and I am wondering how she will be as she grows. I have looked up information on both the Bulldog and Rottweiler. How can I prevent her from becoming aggressive? There children in the house (ages 2,8,10, and 12) and she will be taken often to the nursing home to visit Grandpa and other various places(like the children's baseball games and such) to keep her well socialized. Will this help prevent any sort of aggression towards strangers? We have another dog, an 8 year old lab. How can i prevent aggression towards other dogs? Any suggestions on things to help me out with this new puppy? She is 6 weeks old (I know it's young...please don't comment on her age) so if you have any other suggestions to help me with her this would be greatly appreciated. She is not my first puppy, however, she is the first puppy I have had of these breeds. I have had Labs and Springer Spaniels mostly. I know that she is a mutt. But apparently people have come up with yet another name for a mutt, this puppy's being a Bullweiler. I did not pay extra for this breed, she was basically free, so I do know that she is a mutt and that BUllweiler is not an actual breed.

I have BIG dogs....dog parks aren't feasible.....I need a place to exercise them! HELP!!? So I own an American Bulldog (male, neutered,18 mnths) & a Rotty/Shep cross (female, spayed, 14 mths). They're good dogs, however I do not take them to our local dog park. There are too many risk factors and aggressive behavior from other dogs, etc....I just don't want the headache. I've had a lot of bad run ins and Buddy being a large Bulldog, he always gets blamed and labelled no matter who's at fault. I need a place to be able to throw their ball for them off leash and not get ostrasized by the public. I clean up after them ALWAYS. I've tried taking them to soccer , football , baseball fields, vacant grassy areas that are miles from playgrounds, etc. I ALWAYS have someone coming up to me saying..."you can't have dogs here", "put your dog on a leash". I am getting SOOOOOO frustrated! My dogs deserve to have some freedom as well. I am a responsible dog owner. Any suggestions as to how I can go about finding a suitable area for me to run my dogs without the harrassment?

GIANT "Kong" ball for my dog? I have an English Bulldog and she loves playing with balls. Problem is, the only large balls we can find are air filled and she just destroys them in a few seconds. We found a nearly indestructible brand, Kong, but they only make small toys. We bought her a Kong ball (the size of a baseball) but she lost interest after destroying a basketball. She even loves pushing my bowling ball around the house but thats not a good idea... The ideal solution would be that Kong ball I mentioned the size of a bowling ball or basketball. Does such a product exist? In short, I'm looking for a SOLID rubber ball the size of a bowling ball or maybe slightly bigger. If you live in the country(not in city limits) and there is no leash or fence law, what do you ? do about annoying people telling you to keep your dog fenced/tied up. They know that there is no such law. I had one guy trying to mace my dog when it was in my yard. Before he had a baseball bat. He rides his bicycle by my house just for this. My dog is an American Bulldog and may be intimidating, but what I'm doing is not illegal. I'm afraid the mere sight of the dog makes this crazy man afraid. But it makes me wonder why he rides his bike by my house when there would be no other reason to ride a bicycle by my house. This particular man came back with a baseball bat after he had already gone home to get the bat just so he could try to hit her with it. My dog doesn't bite, but she will bark at some people, others she doesn't bark at. There are many dogs, even strays, that roam out here.

LARGE indestructible rubber ball for dogs? I am having no luck locating a BIG rubber ball for my dog. She is an English Bulldog and she has no trouble at all chewing almost ANYTHING to bits. However, I did find one brand that is remarkably durable-"Kong". I bought her a solid rubber Kong ball about the size of a baseball a year ago and she has long lost interest. She is much more interested in large balls like basketballs & soccerballs (she destroys all my daughters balls). Anyway, where can I find a soccerball-sized, indestructible rubber ball? The battle started with Hazard and Risky. The 2 locked up and Hazard quickly overpowered Risky and placed him in a headlock. After a few seconds in that hold, Hazard turned the headlock into a headlock takeover and released it on the mat. Both men rushed right back to their feet but Hazard immediately took Risky down with a shoulder block. Hazard was on a roll and picked the pace back up when he brought Risky to his feet. He struck with a few open handed chops and then whipped Risky into the ropes and hit an atomic drop. Risky stayed on his feet hunched over and Hazard then hit a spinebuster. Hazard was already ready to close in on a very early victory as he pulled Risky up and set him up for a Bio-Bomb. However, Risky was able to fight out of it and hit a few shots to Hazards gut. With Risky striking he followed up by hitting a spinning neckbreaker. Now both men were down and in the center of the ring. Fans were all behind Hazard and Vaine as both he and Risky crawled to their corners. Then at the same time they each tagged out. Phenom and Vaine both rushed in but Vaine was the 1 that was most prepared, tackling Phenom down as they ran at each other. Then on the mat Vaine went wild on Phenom with firing shots left and right. Then, with Phenom sitting against the corner, Vaine backed up only to take off running and do a bronco buster on Phenom! Fans loved it! With Phenom worn out Vaine figured she had a shot at getting the 3 count so she pulled Phenom toward the center of the ring for a pin. Unfortunately Phenom wasn’t put out yet and when Vaine went down for the pin Phenom snuck in a thumb to her eye. Vaine got to her feet temporarily blinded and Phenom rushed up to slam Vaine down with a belly to back suplex. Vaine was down and Phenom finally had her chance to take charge. She went onto a dirty assault by kicking Vaine in the gut several times as she tried to get up. She then applied a camel clutch on the mat. Luckily for Vaine it was near the ropes and within 10 seconds she was able to reach them to break the hold. But Phenom didn’t release the hold. So the ref was forced to make a count and right before the count of 5 she released it. That’s when Phenom tagged Risky back in. Risky came in rushing for Vaine and fans got to their feet hoping to not see this uneven match-up. Luckily the ref held Risky off as he tried to constantly get by and attack a helpless woman. Finally the ref kept Risky held off long enough for Vaine to tag in Hazard. As soon as Hazard touched Vaine’s hand Risky pushed the ref aside and charged Hazard as he tried to enter the ring. He assaulted him and brought him down to the mat where he dropkicked him on his side sending him rolling out to the floor. The ref again had to hold off a blood hungry Risky a Hazard slowly got to his feet on the outside. When Hazard was up Risky took off and hit a baseball slide onto him. Risky slid out of the ring at that moment and rammed Hazard’s head 3 times into the steel steps before snap suplexing him on the hard floor. Fans booed Risky and the refs count out was now at 4. Risky entered back into the ring with Hazard motionless on the outside. By 7 he began to stir and Risky hoped he wouldn’t make it in on time. By 8 he grasped the apron and at 9 he slid right in. Risky came running right for Hazard to make sure he wouldn’t gain momentum but unfortunately for him he ran right into Hazard’s sidewalk slam. Hazard and Risky at this point were both down and struggling up to their feet side by side. The both got up and Hazard was wise enough to strike 1st hitting Risky with a pumphandle slam. Risky was now flat on his back and Hazard crawled over to him for the pin. But right before he got to him Phenom rushed in and dragged him away by his foot. Fans were surprised by Phenom’s guts and when Hazard got up and stared eye to eye with her, she slapped him across the face! Fans gasped and Hazard was slapped right into Risky who took him down with a samoan drop. Once again The Breakthroughs had control and made a good comeback. Risky dragged Hazard by his foot back over to his corner where he tagged in Phenom. That’s when Risky pulled Hazard up to his feet and delivered him to Phenom who took him down with a tornado DDT! Fans were surprised by that and Phenom was showing real guts in this match. She quickly tagged Risky right back in and Risky and her pulled Hazard up and hit a double suplex. Phenom stepped right out on the apron and tagged right in a second later for yet another double team. Risky placed Hazard in a camel clutch and this time Phenom dropkicked Hazard in his exposed face. But Phenom didn’t stop there. She got back to her feet and landed countless kicks to Hazard’s face. Fans were outraged and the ref finally had enough. He demanded Risky go to the apron and that lit a fire under The Breakthroughs. They got up and stalked down the ref arguing with him. All this allowed Hazard to crawl to his corner and sneak a tag into Vaine. Vaine came running in but in a disgusting act Risky blindsided her with a hellacious clothesline! Fans were disgusted and Vaine was out cold! The ref immediately checked on her while Risky dragged Hazard toward the center of the ring. Phenom then rudely pushed the ref aside with no regards to Vaine’s health, and side by side Risky and Phenom both hit DDTs. They both got on them for the pin and the ref made the 3 count. He went for the pin but thats when SS's experience kicked in. Jesh went down and SS did a quick roll up but only got a two. When Jesh got up he was met by a hard clotesline that sent him into the ropes. SS then threw Jesh out of the ring and did a suicide dive when jesh got up. SS then threw Jesh back in and hit a DDT. SS was fired up and forgot one of the most important rules of wrestling, never turn your back on your opponent. Jesh then hit SS in the nuts, the ref was knocked out earlier from an elbow Jesh threw that SS ducked out of. He then rolled up SS just as the ref was getting up and got the pin and the upset. Winner: Jesh Match 1: The Raven Effect vs. Deadman 4 Life The match started with D4L getting some offense after he hit a big boot. He then went on to dominate the match. E&C started out winning with a fury of kicks but was eventually was caught and slammed. RNW continued to beat him up and eventually busted him open when he threw him into the ring post. RNW then picked up the bloody E&C and hit his CEC for the victory. Movie title, Comedy, 90's, baseball movie, bulldogs or something? I liked this movie a lot during my youth. It stars two kids as awful baseball players. The best team in the league decides to take five or so of the worst that tried out, "the losers of the league", claiming that they will still win the championship. The team name was the bulldogs I believe. At the end of the movie all the good kids from the Bulldogs go form their own team to play the bulldogs.
